Comoptions:description:hi all, here we have my 1968 dodge charger that is a true survivor car. He was really set on a 1968- 1969 at the time. Everyone that he wentto look at were trashed and there was not that many available at the time. Onthursday jan 27th the new collectorcartrader magazine came out and he saw the adthat listed the car for sale from the original owner. Me and my brother droveabout 30 miles into los angeles the next day and we saw the car. Olga theoriginal owner had bought the car new on 6/10 1968 from atlantic dodge in losangeles and was her baby ever since. My brother owned the car till 2015 until ipurchased it from him. The car is pretty much original except for the paint. Thecar was repainted before my brother purchased it. The original color was mediumgold poly the car has it original matching 383 2 barrel and 727 three speedautomatic trans. The original rear end is a sure grip 2. 71 ratio. The car is aoriginal a/c car and everything is still there but the compressor is locked up. The car has power steering and power drum brakes. The car runs and drives and ijust installed new tires on her that has less than 75 miles on them. I used thecar just to cruise to the local car shows or cruise down to the beach on theweekends. She has all her original gauges that work. The clock and originalradio are there in great shape but not working. She has a aftermarket cd playerthat my brother installed after he purchased her, it is mounted under the dashso the original am radio and dashboard is intact and undisturbed. It has bucketseats with the center console. When my brother bought her she was running usamags that he changed out to the 14 inch magnum 500 rims. The original exhaustmanifolds had been changed at the original dealership by the original ownerafter she purchased it. Bucket Seats✔ Air Conditioning

Normal 0 false false false en-us ja x-none let me start by saying i have owned this car for 32 years it has over 90,000 miles on it. The car was restored 17 years ago. New quarter panels, trunk pan, rear valance. The color is pgr forest green. The body has held up very well. I have kept this car in the garage since i restored the car. This charger has an xp vin it is not a true r/t. The front suspension has . 920 torsion bars which is correct for an r/t. It also has firm feel tubular upper control arms, firm feel heavy duty adjustable strut rods, firm feel stage 3 power steering box, the car drives extremely well. It has factory sway bar upfront and aftermarket rear sway bars. 7 leaf heavy duty leaf springs in rear. It has disc brakes on the front with drilled and slotted rotors with ebc yellow brake pads. Has 11 inch rear brakes and the emergency brake does work. The car stops very well. Car has frame connectors on it as well. All cross-members are in very nice shape including torsion bar mounts.

This is a numbers matching car - motor and transmission. The numbers are stamped on the engine and transmission matching the vin. It has the original fender tag, but no build sheet. The heater works, it's a non air conditioned car. The car starts and runs good. It has a 6 way drivers seat. All the gauges are in working order. The transmission shifts out good and has a good clutch in it. The engine runs cool and it's very smooth on the highway.
