Production was only from 1981 - 1986, and on a much more limitedvolume than the CJ7. Subsequently, values are 30-40% higher than similarlyequipped CJ7's, and 50-60% higher than CJ5's. My Scrambler has been aTexas truck it's entire life. 2 Owners. There are no rust issues. Theoriginal floors and bed are still in the truck. The hardtop fits very nicely. The doors shut nicely as well, and close flush with the body and have even bodygaps all around. The paint on the truck is original and tells a tale of awesomeadventures and good times through its dings and scratches. The original transfer case, and axles are all still with the truck. The rearaxles has been upgraded to Alloy One-Piece axles and the front hubs have beenupgraded to SuperWinch locking hubs. The original 6 cylinder has 109,000 milesand change. It still has the original Carter carb on it. Start up takes a 5-7pumps and about 30 seconds to get warmed up enough to idle nicely.

Jeep has hardtop and doors. This Jeep was found in a old airplane hanger covered. Minor rust here and there but over all a very clean body and frame. Full doors are in good condition but I have been working to adjust the driver's side window. Jeep has a 4" body and suspension lift w/35" Super Swamper tires. The soft top and half-doors w/mirrors come with vehicle. Recently added new carb and much more into this puppy. Carburetor needs a little fine adjusting still, just don't have the time and physical ability. Manual 3-speed transmission with Dana 44 rear and Dana 33 front. Vehicle has some minor leaks, but over all a solid ride. A great vehicle to continue restoring and working on for off-road fun or around town. Have the original manual transmission that comes with Jeep that will send if purchased. Any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Kansas is an E-title state.

This cj8 is equipped with a 2003 wrangler 4. 0 fuel injected engine, 4 speed automatic transmission, air conditioning, power steering and power disc brakes. The body is a new tub and is painted olympic white, finished off with a mopar approved stripe kit. Most everything is new including brakes, stainless steel lines, shocks, new pads & rotors, shoes & drums, master cylinder and booster. The interior is the original black laredo seats and console. The spare tire holder has been powder coated to keep it hassle free. Underside of this cj8 scrambler looks just like the outside and is painted to match body and detailed to show standards.
